.......Where she parks?  Nobody knows!

I went to the mall tonight to get my hair trimmed, a manicure and pedicure because my 6 month probationary exam and review is due and I wanted to be presentable to the Supervisor.  What the hell?  Took me  20 friggen' minutes to find a parking spot.  Around and around the parking lot I went.

Mission accomplished!  I felt better when it was all done and finished!

Now I'm sitting here sipping on a beer or two to relax after the mayhem.  It's nuts here!  People are yelling and screaming at each other over stupid parking spots.  Get over it!  And while we're at it......."Happy Holidays!"

Why not? It is the holiday season after all! I finally managed to get some shopping done this weekend and most of it to boot. Thank goodness I had a few days of spare time to get the task taken care of.

What would a holiday shopping spree be without going to one place to get a specific item to only find out that their out of stock and won't part with the display? My gosh! It's a seasonal item that'll be be obsolete by the end of the week anyway. To top it off, the sales associate who was kind enough to take the time to look in the stock area to see if they had it told me (while she held her store phone in her hand), that if I wanted to find out if any of the other stores in the area had the product in stock that I could go to the customer service counter (wait in line again mind you), and have them call the stores to find out for me. Um, yah! Oooookay! Not! I did it myself, cell phone in hand, and went the next day to get it.

But I really shouldn't complain. Shame on me for waiting too long.

Other items came to be available and made the shopping experience a more pleasant one. My idea of shopping is being able to go to a place with a list in hand, go to where they are located in the store, get the item and head to the register.

Only a few more to buy for and I'm done. That'll have to be done after I get off of work.

The best feeling of it all is that it's a comfort to be able to pay for most of it with cash! Whew!
